Department of Fuel Thermochemical Conversion (FTCC)

Areas of activity of the FTCC department:

  •        development of new technologies for combustion and gasification of coal and alternative fuels in CFB and in flow for energy facilities to reduce natural gas consumption in the production of thermal and electrical energy,
  •        studying the processes of combustion and gasification of solid fuels of various origins and degrees of metamorphism in order to use gasification technologies for the production of synthesis gas (SG);
  •        involving alternative solid fuels, including municipal solid waste/RDF, in the fuel base of thermal and communal energy, and selecting technologies for their effective use.
