In May 2026, the Institute actively participated in scientific events of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
On May 14–15, an exhibition-presentation of research and developments of the institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine took place, dedicated to the Day of Science in Ukraine. The Institute presented its latest developments:
1. Scientific and technical support for increasing the efficiency and expanding the range of power regulation of boilers at thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants, including those operating on fuels with non-design characteristics.
2. Scientific and technical foundations and technical solutions for converting anthracite pulverized coal boiler units at thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants to gas coal.
3. Conversion of anthracite and gas-oil power units of sugar factories to burning agrobiomass waste and gas coal with the participation of specialists from the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2019–2024.
4. Transportable energy complex for electricity and heat production.
For active participation in the exhibition-development and contribution to the development of science, the Institute was awarded a Diploma.
For participation in the XXVII International Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency of the XXI Century" (May 20–22), Dudnyk O. M. received a certificate and a letter of appreciation.
