Junior Research Fellow Serhii Horianoi participated in the 3rd European Conference on Fuel and Energy Research and its Applications (FERIA 2025), held at the University of Leeds (UK) from 10 to 12 September 2025.
During the event, he presented the results of his experimental research on the topic: “The Use of Ammonium Reagents in a Venturi Tube.”
The conference brought together leading scientists and professionals in the energy sector to discuss recent trends and innovations in sustainable development.

The online event took place on October 16-17, 2025, at the Institute of Thermal Energy Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

N. I. Dunaievska and Ye. S. Miroshnychenko, at the invitation of MCE sp. z o.o., visited the boiler manufacturing company FPM (Mykulov, Poland) and the waste processing plant Ecogenerator (Zakład Unieszkodliwiania Odpadów Spolka z o.o., Szczecin, Poland) together with the management of "Lvivteplokomunenergo" from October 21 to 23 of this year. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the operations of the aforementioned enterprises and to select equipment from Polish manufacturers for the waste incineration plant in Lviv.

On October 9, 2025, the Ukrainian Committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) held a meeting at the Tripoli Thermal Power Plant with the leaders of all energy-generating companies in Ukraine, thermal power plants, design organizations, and the Institute of Thermal Energy Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The Institute presented examples of converting anthracite- and gas-oil-fired energy facilities at sugar plants to simultaneous or sequential combustion of agro-biomass waste and gas coal, with the participation of ITET NASU specialists during 2019–2024, and the development of an energy complex for the production of electric and thermal energy.
